The Methodist Ecumenical Office Rome, the Reformed Churches Ecumenical Office Rome, and the Anglican Centre in Rome with the Taize Community, the Office of Ecumenism and Dialogue of the Vicariate of Rome, and the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity of the Holy See held an ecumenical prayer service for the sick and suffering and for the health of Pope Francis on Friday, 21 March 2025 at the Church of San Lorenzo in Piscibus (Centro Internazionale Giovanile San Lorenzo).

A Wesleyan Response to Nicaea: Reflections on Faith, Unity, and Mission on the 1700th Anniversary of the Council of Nicaea

The World Methodist Council hosted three special webinars to mark the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea and the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed as scholars reflect on the anniversary and the role of the creed in the 21st century.

The webinars were held on March 3, 4, and 18, 2025.

MEOR hosted a special webinar on Monday, 20 January 2025 entitled “Experience of the Fraternal Delegates at the Synod on Synodality”. Five fraternal delegates to the 16th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops of the Catholic Church, called the Synod on Synodality, shared their experiences, stories, and insights during this webinar to mark the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
