ENCOUNTER – CJ4A Leaders and MEOR Director Meet

The Rev. Matthew A. Laferty, director of the Methodist Ecumenical Office Rome, met today with Irene Abra and James Appleby from the Climate Justice for All campaign to learn about their work, how they are mobilizing Methodist young people for climate justice, and their plans for the Pre-COP26 and COP26 meetings. In the soon-to-be published report from the Methodist-Roman Catholic International Commission, the report describes creation care and climate justice as a central feature of the church’s ministry of reconciliation in the world.
