The Methodist Ecumenical Office Rome and the Pontifical Urbaniana University co-sponsored “Newman’s Significance Today,” an ecumenical symposium on St. John Henry Newman, on Thursday, 16 June 2022. The symposim speakers were Dr. Fred Aquino, Prof. Luca Tuninetti, Prof. Gerry Whelan, Abp. Ian Ernest, and Rev. Dr. Daniel Pratt Morris-Chapman. The Rev. Matthew A. Laferty, director of the Methodist Ecumenical Office Rome, moderated the event.
